Boa Constrictor Eating An Iguana
Our guide Jorge found this Boa eating an iguana by the side of the water. Apparently it was the first time he had ever seen this in 26 years so what you have here is a very rare picture. Seen in Cano Negro, Costa Rica.

Fantastic capture! While photographing in Costa Rica, I once got close enough to an iguana, only to have a boa like this one stike at the iguana, causing me to get startled, drop my camera and miss getting what would have been an impressive shot.
