Spiny Lizard, Costa Rica

The Spiny Lizard is around 15cm long and varies greatly in color from this lovely emerald green to almost black. Seen sunbathing they are shy lizards and will quickly vanish when they spot you. Seen mainly in forest areas around Costa Rica.
