Eyelash Viper, Costa Rica
Found in the Le Fortuna / Arenal area this is one of the most dangerous and infamous of Costa Rican snakes. I had to get pretty close to take this piture though and I survived. This was the only one we saw in 4 weeks of looking for as much wildlife as possible so you’re safer in Costa Rica than you might think.
